
The City Government of Valenzuela, led by Mayor WES Gatchalian and the City Council, enacted ordinances to ban illegal gambling and POGOs in the city. These ordinances were established in response to social, economic, and security issues caused by illegal gambling activities nationwide.
Ordinance No. 1105 prohibits all POGO entities from operating within Valenzuela City, with violators facing fines or imprisonment. Ordinance No. 1108 bans various forms of illegal gambling in the city, with penalties for violators. Additionally, Ordinance No. 1107 temporarily disallows new online gambling operations in the city for five years.
Mayor WES emphasized the importance of these ordinances in protecting the welfare of the people of Valenzuela. The City Government aims to uphold social order and economic development by implementing these regulations.
